The news of Professor Rajeev Motwani’s unfortunate death on Friday afternoon spread quickly all over the couple of hundred attendees of tonights. The atmosphere of the event turned from cheery cocktail sipping banter to astonished silence.
Most everybody who was there is his companion. And most everybody there had a narrative to tell about how Rajeev Motwani had helped them at one time or another, asking nothing in return.
