The central terminal at New York’s LaGuardia Airport was vacate Saturday morning at around 5:30 am, stranding hundreds of traveler, after a man go through the building with a fake bomb in a bag, authorities recognized the man as Scott McGann 32, of New York police said.

Fake bomb scare forced the quick evacuation of thousands of passengers onto the roadways and interrupt travel plans for thousands of people as flights were delayed and vehicle traffic to the airport was temporarily halted, although scare was over in a few hours.

LaGuardia Airport reopened at 9 am later airlines attuned their schedules.

AP – The Israeli government will remove references to what Palestinians call the “catastrophe” of Israel’s creation from textbooks for Arab schoolchildren, the education minister said Wednesday.
