Now, i’m only 15 at the moment, so am not currently thinking about going straight into a job when i’m 16, i’m going to collage.
However, to be an air ambulance pilot would i need medical skills? Or would i just be required to fly the helicopter? And how would i go about training and getting a job in this after collage?
I’m only asking this question now as i would love to be a pilot, and at the same time help save peoples’ lives.
Also, i don’t want to think i am able to take the job, and look forward to it and take the course in collage, when i would need medical skills as well. Obviously i am prepared to learn medical aswell, if i must.
P.S. Also, how would you go about applying for this job? Just to help with that small question aswell.

Okay.Before i begin i want to make it clear that the air ambulance is an important tool for saving peoples lives.
But today we had one land on our estate.Lots of emergency staff were asking people to move bins and cars so it could land in a tight area.I told one of the crew on the ground i would just go inside and get my motorbike keys so i could move it.I was told ok.But the staff waved the pilot in and my bike was blown over causing extensive damage.The impact was so hard the underseat storage burst open and my expensive crash helmet also was badly damaged.The steering,body work are very bad.
Clearly the pilot could not land without getting my bike out of the way.All the neighbours who watched this happen said so.
I know it was an emergency but surely this is criminal damage.
If the pilot could not land he should not have attempted too.
Will i be able to pursue this through my insurance company and make a claim for the damage.Or because it was an emergency i cannot.

My husband is in hospital tonight, and it just reminded me of how much we take for granted the professionalism, dedication and sacrifice others make on our behalf. Some are paid. But not enough. Some are volunteers, and that shames Government, but restores our faith in human nature. I work with the Police force and acknowledge their dedication, the very difficult job they do, for little thanks. We take so much for granted.

Im trying to get to the top of Schuman Health Care Center because there is a air ambulance on the roof but so far I have had no luck finding a way up. Do I need a helicopter to get up and if so is there one on the island you start the game on???

I am trying to fly my beloved Aunt Dede down from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. She has Muscular Dystrophy and has suffered from severe malnutrition which has advanced her condition. She is in a nursing home presently and we want to care for her here in our home. I don’t know if she can fly on a ‘regular’ flight, perhaps she could if she could fly First Class. It was recommended that she take a flight with medical support, just to be safe.
Any information/advice would be a big blessing.

My friends’ infant was taken by emergency helicopter to riley children’s hospital at 3am from one of the south bend hospitals, and we were all surprised to learn that not even one of them was allowed on the flight. Is this typical? Does it vary by city, hospital, or medevac company?
By the by, the five-month-old did so well in surgery that he’s already out of the ICU. It’s a serious issue and he may suffer kidney problems and hearing loss later, but he’s okay for now! The parents made the three hour drive intact, but incurred a speeding ticket along the way.
