I Have A Won A Small Claims Court Case, But Have Not Been Paid.

September 27, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

There was a case against a women who imports English Bulldogs to the US, sells them, then ships them to you. The problem was there were many sick dogs, that she did this with. There was a contract signed by the owners, myself included. That contract waived the rights of the puppy lemon law for the state she lives in. I was not awar of a puppy lemon law. Well, before I knew about the others going through this, I contacted my court and we went through a couple of trials. They ruled in the favor of me to get paid back the cost of the dog plus all vet bills that occured. I later was contacted by the attorney general’s office stating that they are suing her for her conduct. There were many others going through the same thing I did. I never got paid, she lived in a different state, so it is difficult to send her a capias. She won’t do anything because she knows my sherriff is’nt going to another state to arrest her. Now I recently found out she moved again to a whole different state. How convienent is that? I contact the attorney generals office that has a case open with her, but every time I talk to them they say they are in the middle of talking with her attorney. It’s frustrating, because I lost my dog because of his illness, I put alot into this, and nothing in return. And what pisses me off, is she still does business on the internet making money charging more now than she had in the past. Should I continue with this fight? Or give up and say hell with it. This feels like a loosing battle. I get so mad knowing that she’s still getting away with this today. I Learned my lesson. If it sounds too easy, and too good to be true it’s going to rip you off.

Lemon Case, Nissan Is Offering Me $3000 To Settle???

September 26, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

I have a lemon law case against Nissan. Last March, a Nissan representative sent a letter to my attorney offering me $3000 to settle the case. It appears the problem I was having with my Armada has been finally resolved. Now, I really want to get the $3000 they are offering. My question is, should I have my attorney contact Nissan to send me the payment or should I contact the Nissan rep directly without advising my attorney? I’m afraid that if I contact my attorney first, he’d ask for payment from me as well. Any ideas? Thanks.

I Need Advice/help With Understanding The Lemon Law And To See If My Mum Has A Case Here.?

September 08, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

She has a new Nissan Versa with barely 20,000 miles on it. The problem it’s having is the squealing sound coming from applying the brakes. With the slightest touch it squeals. It sort of sounds something a live pig might do at a slaughter house or something. It’s really loud and annoying too. Easily could be heard from a third of a mile away.
I drove it a few times these last few days and it’s painfully loud. It hurt my ears so I can imagine what it does to my mums ears and other drivers.
Anyways The problem first occurred at about 3500 miles and we took it in for service but all the dealership did was put some brake quiet spray on the pads then about 500 miles after that date of service the squealing sound came back and again it was taken it in. It’s been taken in for service 4 times now, going on 5 with the exact same problem and the dealership mechanics still haven’t taken care of the problem.
Does my mum have a lemon law case??
I was researching about the lemon law on this site but want a better understanding from others…http://www.dca.ca.gov/acp/
Thank you for all your help. Greatly appreciated.

Does Anyone Know Who Pays The Lawyer In A Lemon Law Case?

August 24, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

I can speak from experience.. It is the company that you are suing that is responsible for all fees to the attorney. You are liable for nothing whether you win or lose! 3 yrs ago the fee was about $2,500. So it might be a little more today.

August 09, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

a vehicle I have had for 3 years. The Motor company will be buying back the lemon and giving me a check for a decent amount of money. Now here is the question…if the bailout passes tomorrow, should I be able to get a loan for at least half the amount of the loan, say perhaps $10,000…we have great income now.

Has Anyone Ever Had A Lemon Law Case?

July 11, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

I recently traded my car in for a Nissan Armada and the brake light goes on while in drive. When you step on the brakes, the brakes vibrate and it seems the braking gets weaker as you depress the pedal. My atty advised to take Nissan to court rather than go thru BBB’s arbitration program. Is my atty correct or is he just trying to get my money?

Does The Wisconsin Lemon Law Apply My My Case?

July 03, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

I bought a car about a week ago from a dealer. I was told that the car came with some minor defects such as leaks, etc. One problem I was told about was that the ABS light would come on but I was told that there was no ABS problem and that it was only a defect with the gauge. The buyers guide on the window listed no problem with the ABS. I had the car checked out by another mechanic and I was told that the ABS did not work at all and it would cost a lot of money to fix. The dealer told me he would fix it at a 20% discount.
So, what should I do? Is there a lemon law in this case?
And if the lemon law doesn’t apply in this case would it be cheaper to get it fixed at the dealer or at another mechanic?

Can I Get Some Help Finding An Attorney Willing To Take My Lemon Law Case??

June 30, 2009 By: admin Category: Business & Finance

My truck is an unsafe vehicle sold to me based on lies from small dealership. I have a lemon law case, but I can’t afford to pay an attorney for representation. Can someone help me with this?? My truck has almost gotten me killed twice because it just dies out. The dealership is playing games with me. It’s now at the dealership’s mechanic, but I know it can’t be fixed because the parts they need to make it a safe vehicle aren’t available anymore.
