What Is On A Consumer Credit Report?
I’ve just been offered a new job. They are going to do a consumer credit report for employment and education verification. What is exactly on this report? If I got fired from a job, will it be on the report?

hi,
1on your credit report are current and paid off debts to creditors and each creditor sends in reports monthly to quarterly, on if you have been late at all. it also shows any lawsuits concerning money you owe, or collection agency’s looking for you for payments. hiring and firings are not on your credit report. your resume’ shows places of employment and person’s to contact regarding your employment performance. if anything is reported incorrectly on your credit report, you have the right to straighten out the matter, with the help of the reporting credit agency, as there are 3 major bureaus. also, if a former employer says anything about you that is not true and it costs you getting a new job, you can sue that former employer.
i hope this helped! good luck!
